Budding naturalists of all ages are invited to bring their found rocks, minerals, shells, bones, insects, fossils, and other specimens to the Wagner Free Institute of Science’s Natural History Road Show for identification by a panel of experts.

Visitors can chat with scientists specializing in everything from insects to fossils, including professor of biology Dr. Jason Downs and entomologist Greg Cowper. No specimen to bring? Try stumping the panelists with one of theirs!

Throughout the day, families can explore the natural history collection, complete a scavenger hunt, draw in the museum, and dig up and identify different types of shark teeth — with the chance to take a found tooth home as a keepsake.
