Sneak Peek: Inside Philly Family Magazine’s Fall Issue
Our Fall issue is on the street! Here's what's inside.
The Fall issue of Philadelphia Family magazine will be on its way to mailboxes in just a few days! We’re looking forward to sharing a fresh new look with our readers while reinforcing our family lifestyle content across our seven departments. Here are a few of the stories that Supporting Members and magazine subscribers will get to read before anyone else:
Our Education Issue will be a useful resource for parents in Philadelphia who are considering independent schools for their child, thanks to our Parent-to-Parent School Directory. We interviewed local families to share their experiences of finding the right fit as well as school administrators and educators about their new programs and initiatives. We’ve also highlighted our favorite resources to get involved in supporting neighborhood public schools in Philly.
We rounded up the best Kid-Friendly Brunch spots in the city and shared 3 Things Parents Should Know About Peanut Allergies in Children thanks to our partnership with Allergy & Asthma Specialists.
For our readers who are welcoming those Super Bowl Babies this fall, we gathered some great resources to help you get ready for baby, find your village, and connect with other parents on your journey.
And we interviewed Maureen and Joanna Maier to learn a bit more about living and raising kids in the Chestnut Hill and Mt. Airy neighborhood (the subject of our newest Neighborhood Guide). Thanks to Lucy Baber for introducing us to this local family!
Whether you’re a new parent, new to the area, or a local business owner looking to network with us, we would like to invite you to join us to celebrate the 13th Issue of Philadelphia Family magazine on October 17th at Positano Coast! Get your ticket here to meet the Family Focus Media team and the organizations we partnered with to make this issue our best yet!
Proceeds benefit the Plaid Pajamas Project, a local initiative that collects thousands of cozy new pajamas for families in need each holiday season and distributes them through over a dozen non-profit organizations including Cradles to Crayons, Head Start Philadelphia, Horizon House, Support Center for Child Advocates, and T&E Cares. Clients and friends who bring a NEW pair of pajamas for a local family in need will receive a BIG HUG and a social media shout out in thanks for helping us support this cause.
