Presidents’ Day (Free Family Day!)
February 19 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Schools are closed, but the museum is open! Join The Weitzman for aFREE Family Day of fun activities for all ages. There will be musical performances, crafts, tours, and more. Admission is free!
Schedule:
10 am: Two of a Kind acoustic an inclusive President’s Day sing along.
11 am: Khalil Munir’s “The Crowns’ Corner” – Khalil will enchant through tap, drumming, and spoken word giving voice to his struggle with dyslexia.
11 am – 2 pm: Crown making and Quill Pen writing
11 am – 12:30 pm: Adoughma (Ah-DOUGH-mah) dough play. Sensory-friendly play dough fun (all ages) with Erin Beser.
11 am, 12:30 pm and 2 pm: Family Gallery Activity with Lauren Alexander.
Plus! Your Turn to Vote table with interactive voting activity and information about voter registration. You can also explore the museum with Weitzman Docent Tours at 11 am and 2 pm!
