Solar Eclipse Watch Party at the Independence Visitor Center

Looking to get a glimpse of the solar eclipse? Come watch on The Liberty View terrace at the Independence Visitor Center. Here’s the timeline:
2:08 p.m. – Partial eclipse begins
3:23 p.m. – Maximum eclipse
4:35 p.m. – Eclipse ends
As you marvel at the skies, take in the breathtaking views of Independence Hall.
While it’s an exciting event, safety is paramount when viewing the sun. Be sure to use protective eyewear provided on-site, especially designed for solar observation. Never look directly at the sun without proper protection, as it can cause serious eye damage.
