The Wissahickon in January with Debbie Hoellein & Jim McClory

One reason we like hiking in the winter is that you can see clear across the Wissahickon. Join Debbie and Jim on their January hike when you will not only see beautiful vistas, but also how the flora changes with the cold weather, while beautiful rocks stay the same. And what type of fauna will you encounter in January? The route to the other side of Lincoln Drive also takes you through Historic Rittenhouse Town, the site of the McKinney Quarry, and Saylor Grove. This approximately 3.5-4 mile route has some rocky ascents and descents. Children 12 years of age and older are welcome when accompanied by an adult, but no dogs except for service animals, please.
