Zora Neale Hurston’s Typewriter and Works

Celebrate Zora Neale Hurston with a mini exhibition of materials from Parkway Central Library’s collection and a chance to write on the same model typewriter she used. The typewriter is on loan from Philly Typewriter. Photo of Zora and her Remington Portable no. 5. from Xavier University. Don’t forget to check out their booklist on Zora too.
This program will take place in the Literture Department, on the 2nd Floor from 3pm to 5pm
