Music Theatre Philly is an award winning non-profit performing arts training center for children, teens, and adults. In fact they are a multi-year Philadelphia Family LOVE Award Winner & Family Favorite for Best Specialty Camp and Best Theater/Performing Arts Program! Their flagship location resides at 12th & Spruce Streets in Philadelphia, and this fall students on the Main Line can experience everything MTP has to offer at their brand new location! Find them in Wynnewood at the Kaiserman JCC!

Whether you have a fledgling performer or a long time theater afficionado, classes at MTP are the way to go to learn new skills and hone their crafts. Classes are for children ages 3 – 18 and offer a focus on specific disciplines of singing, dancing, and acting. Adults can get their stage-fix in as well this fall. MTP is excited to announce the all-adult all musical theatre choir, Voices of Music Theatre Philly!

Young performers looking to step on stage can sign up for one of MTP’s full productions as part of the “MTP Presents” performance series. Actors in grades 1 – 6 can experience the magic of Arendelle with Disney’s Frozen Kids! Actors in grades 7 – 12 can sign up for Broadway’s smash hit Mean Girls. It’s going to be so fetch! (Bonus- locals can catch both Mean Girls and Disney’s Frozen on Broadway in Philadelphia this school year!)

MTP will present a limited offering of classes and shows for the Main Line entertainers at the Kaiserman JCC including: Disney Royalty for ages 3 – 5, Showstoppers: the Music of Lin-Manuel Miranda for grades K – 2, Broadway Bootcamp for grades K – 2 and 3 – 7, and a musical theatre intensive for grades 8 – 12. Students in grades 1 – 7 will also have the chance to participate in Disney’s Frozen KIDS!

Music Theatre Philly is a non-profit performing arts training program dedicated to creating a
safe, inclusive and fun environment where young people discover the power of their voice.
MTP aims to provide a home for all theatre kids regardless of their financial situation.
Scholarship is available to most applicants.
