Description
Schuylkill Center Nature Preschool is a play-based early childhood program in northwest Philadelphia for children ages 3 to 5, where learning happens primarily outdoors on 365 acres of forests, fields, ponds, and streams. The school’s emergent curriculum is guided by children’s own curiosity and interests, which fosters creativity, problem-solving, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. Children spend their days exploring the natural world firsthand by observing wildlife, investigating seasonal changes, and taking the kinds of hands-on risks that build confidence and independence.
