2026 LOVE AWARD WINNER:
Best Birthday Parties

ARTrageous Brush & Flow

Philadelphia

“One experience that truly stands out was watching a room full of children and adults arrive nervous, and unsure of their abilities, and leave smiling, proud, and confident, holding artwork they never imagined they could create. The heart behind ARTrageous Brush & Flow is Moneek Pines, the owner and lead teaching artist. Moneek has a rare gift for making everyone feel comfortable like family and capable, regardless of age or experience. She doesn’t just teach art, she listens, encourages, and creates an atmosphere where people feel safe to express themselves. I’ve personally seen her go above and beyond by tailoring sessions to meet the emotional needs of participants, whether that meant slowing down for someone who needed extra support or uplifting a child who lacked confidence.”

Best Community Support

D.O.P.E – Doing Our Part Eclectically

Philadelphia

“As a Philadelphia parent, I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the extraordinary impact of Doing Our Part Eclectically and its founder and Executive Director, Jai Crabbe Gorrell. My experience with this organization goes far beyond receiving services. It reflects genuine care, consistency, and a deep understanding of what families in our city truly need. One moment that stands out is watching Jai show up week after week, regardless of weather or circumstances, to serve families and individuals with dignity and compassion. She knows people by name. She remembers children, checks on parents, and ensures that no one feels invisible. For my family and many others, this was not just about food or resources. It was about feeling supported, respected, and seen during difficult seasons. As a parent, it meant everything to know there was an organization that cared about my children’s well-being and my own mental and emotional health.”

2026 LOVE AWARD WINNER:
Best Indoor Play Space

Little Munchkins Playroom

Philadelphia

“We hosted our son Eli’s 3rd birthday party at Little Munchkins Playroom, and the experience was truly exceptional. The space itself is a hidden gem. It is thoughtfully designed for toddlers and preschool-aged children, with multiple play areas that kept the kids fully engaged the entire time. There was more than enough room for both children and adults, with dedicated areas for food, cake, and gifts, which made the party feel organized and relaxed. What truly set Little Munchkin Playroom apart was the flexibility and personal care. We were able to bring our own food, cake, decorations, and even our own Spider-Man entertainer, which allowed us to fully customize the party for Eli. The facility was spotless and extremely well maintained, and the staff went above and beyond with their attentiveness and customer service. Little Munchkins Playroom has a meaningful impact on families in the community by providing a safe, clean, welcoming space where young children can celebrate milestones and parents can feel supported.”

2026 LOVE AWARD WINNER:
Best Museum for Bringing History to Life

Museum of the American Revolution

Philadelphia

“We originally did not plan to visit the Museum of the American Revolution while in Philadelphia but decided to go on a whim. I’m a history teacher and I thoroughly appreciate the way this museum includes the diverse stories from our country’s founding. It highlighted the diverse team that helped make the Revolution a success, including women and African-Americans. It also included a variety of experiences of different groups from those enslaved people, women who lost their property regardless of their ideas, the old and the young. One of my favorite parts was at the end when they showcase photographs of Revolutionary veterans and contributors. Overall this museum was a great experience.”

2026 LOVE AWARD WINNER:
Best Sustainable Play

Rutabaga Toy Library

Philadelphia

“I just celebrated my daughter’s first birthday this past Saturday at Rutabaga Toy Library and it exceeded all of our expectations! I have been a member of the library since my daughter was 8 months old and I knew then that I wanted Rutabaga to host her party. What initially attracted me was the zero-waste concept of renting toys, which also cuts down the clutter in my home. They bring the same principles to their parties by supplying reusable dishes, silverware, cloth napkins, and decorations. First and foremost, the owner Krystal and her team members Haley and Jacinda are absolutely incredible with the little ones! You can tell how passionate they all are about making a positive impact on the kids. They have really created a sustainable and supportive community for families in East Falls and beyond. Additionally, the space itself is so fun and bright and welcoming, exactly what a kid wants for their birthday.”

2026 LOVE AWARD WINNER:
Best Support for Families Impacted by Cancer Loss

The Michael L. DiTore Small Moments Foundation

Serving the Greater Philadelphia Area

“In the middle of grief and exhaustion, you gave her magic—and you gave me something steady to hold onto. Because of you and the community around this work, I don’t feel alone as I move forward in this grief. I feel supported, seen, and reminded that there is life and connection ahead, even when it looks different than I imagined. I’m forever grateful and truly hope we can stay connected. Your words—and your kindness—have changed more than you know.”

– Crystal L.

2026 LOVE AWARD WINNER:
Best Sustainable Baby & Kids Boutique

The Nesting House

Philadelphia

“When I became pregnant with my first I was extremely overwhelmed with what to buy. The Nesting House is able to create a new and gently used registry. Everything is already carefully picked. I then started selling my son’s clothing to get store credit because I had a daughter after. I was able to use this store credit to buy all ‘new to me’ clothes, books, toys, and shoes! It’s an incredible place that has been there for over ten years.”

2026 FAMILY FAVORITE HONOREE:
Support for Families Fighting Pediatric Cancer

Ahmad Butler Foundation

Philadelphia

“My name is Cierra Butler, and I am nominating the Ahmad Butler Foundation (ABF) because this organization is truly changing lives for families battling pediatric cancer and other life-threatening childhood diseases. ABF is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families who are battling pediatric cancer and other life-threatening childhood illnesses. ABF is truly a family-run organization built on compassion, sacrifice, and love. What makes ABF deserving of recognition is that they do not simply raise awareness, they take action. They serve families with empathy, dignity, and genuine care.”

Philadelphia

“I am a huge fan of Everland. They are located in Queen Village and are a sustainable shop that also has an open play space and a studio space for group classes like toddler dance and baby and me yoga. They are on a mission to also be a co-working space for mamas to allow their kiddos to play while mom works. I love all that they do and I believe they deserve to be recognized.”
