CSAs That Deliver!

Support your community by switching to a CSA!

What’s better than farm-fresh vegetables? Having them delivered to your doorstep! You and your family deserve the very best in organic produce, and it’s never been easier to find fresh fruit and veggies in the Philadelphia area. Buying produce from Community Sourced Agricultural (CSA) organizations helps reduce food waste and supports local farmers. We’ve selected our favorites, and they all deliver! These CSAs bring the farm to your table so you can cook wholesome, nutritious meals to fuel your life.

Hungry Harvest

Every year, 20 billion pounds of perfectly good produce goes to waste in this country. Hungry Harvest is on a mission to change that. They salvage the surplus from their farming partners and pack it into their weekly Harvest Boxes. You can choose your size, organic preferences, and which veggies and fruits you want based on your needs. And as an added bonus, your purchase will help fight hunger across the country! You can read more about Hungry Harvest’s mission statement here.

Delivery: They deliver to the Greater Philadelphia Area, as well as many other locations across the United States. You can enter your zip code on their website to make sure they can come to you.

Philly Foodworks

If you’re looking to go beyond produce, Philly Foodworks is your spot. They’ve got a fantastic selection of meat, fish, and poultry, a fully stocked dairy, and a bakery! It is truly a one-stop shop for all your farm-fresh needs. You can choose one of their many subscriptions or shop a la carte. Your box will be delivered weekly, bi-weekly, or once a month; it’s up to you!

Delivery: You can choose between community pickup, which is free, or delivery for a small cost. They deliver to Philadelphia, the suburbs, and even parts of New Jersey.

Imperfect Foods

Imperfect foods is the perfect way to save a little money while stocking up on pantry staples. They distribute what supermarkets won’t take. That means their items might have old branding or small cosmetic blemishes, but don’t worry, it’s all good to eat! You can select your grocery cart by dietary preference and the number of eaters in your household. You can stick to organic or branch out, and even shop by meal. Your purchase will help reduce food waste and save you a trip to the market.
