¡Viva Verano! Spanish Immersion Summer Camp is not simply a summer camp — it is a cultural immersion movement for children ages 5–12 in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square. Rooted in the living histories of the Caribbean and Latin America, campers experience Spanish as it is meant to be lived: through food, music, art, storytelling, and collective creation. Founded by a visionary educator and mother, Keisha Usher-Martin of ¡Viva Verano! is building a generation of bilingual children who understand language as power and culture as connection.
