Hearts and Crafts Kids Ball

Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 2–4 pm
Cherry Street Pier, Philadelphia

Families are invited to the 2nd annual Valentine’s Day Party. Immerse yourselves in a life-sized cardboard fairytale world, then try love potion mixing, tutu and chapeau crafting, Valentine’s card making. What’s more, there will be dancing with DJ Frost at a bubble-filled ball. Tickets are $20 each or $70 for four.

Love Notes: Record Pressing and Printing with Consonant Collective

Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 1–2:30 pm and 3–4:30 pm
Fabric Workshop and Museum, 1214 Arch Street, Philadelphia

Create a one-of-a-kind Valentine’s gift at this special workshop. Participants can press their own custom record (up to 5 minutes) on a vintage 1940s lathe. Then they can design a screen-printed album cover, label, and sleeve using mono-printing techniques. FWM is partnering with Consonant Collective to help guests craft truly unique musical keepsakes. The Holy Family Educators Club returns to lead story time and Valentine’s Day crafts for children ages 3 to 6 with an accompanying adult, with younger siblings welcome to join the fun.

Runners of all paces and experience levels are welcome to join this celebration of love, whether racing with loved ones, friends, or flying solo. Visit the Whitman Library to make Valentine’s Day cards. This drop-in activity is perfect for school-age kids, teens, and families. Stop by the children’s area of the library anytime between 3–4:30 pm. They’ll have all the materials ready for you. No registration required This is a free afterschool activities offered through LEAP at the Free Library.
