What is a favorite quote that inspires you?

How do you find balance?

I am asked this question a lot. This is no easy answer because whatever we give energy to, expands. If we focus on one thing for a long time, other parts of our lives suffer. The only way to have true balance is to make sure our priorities are set early on. What type of life do we want to live? As we work on our own goals are we working towards our ideal life or just keeping busy to keep busy? If things need to be done but will pull us away from creating an optimal life… delegate. Every mom needs a team of people.

If you could go back in time, what is some parenting advice would you give yourself the day your first child was born?

Be present. Love this little one. Take good care of you, mom. Everything will be okay and even if it’s not okay, it will still be okay.
