Easter Egg Hunts in Philly and the Suburbs

Grab those Easter baskets, lace up those sneakers, and get ready to make a mad dash for the sweet stuff at one of the many Philly Easter egg hunts. Don’t let the kids have all of the fun. Try any of the family-friendly Philly beer gardens after the egg hunt is over.

Shot Tower Playground Egg Hunt

Get ready for the Friends of Shot Tower’s annual Egg Hunt! The hunt begins in the morning, followed by face painting, snacks, and crafts. Each child’s hunt is complete once they’ve found 10 eggs.

Campbell Square Easter Egg Hunt

March 21, 2026, from 10 am to 12 pm
Campbell Square, Belgrade Street and East Allegheny Avenue (Port Richmond), Philadelphia

The Friends of Campbell Square and Liberti Communion are hosting their Annual Easter Egg Hunt, with a special honor to Mary Ongirski, who was a founding member of Friends of Campbell Square Park and beloved community member who passed at the end of 2025. This is free and open to all ages, and the egg hunt will run in waves so the youngest kids get to go first. Families who’d like to donate candy or prizes, or volunteer for the event, can reach out to them for more details.

Epic Church’s Philly Egg Hunt

March 28, 2026, from 10 am to 12 pm
Gorgas Park, 6300 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia

Join Epic Church in Gorgas Park for an epic morning with their Philly Egg Hunt. Free activities include egg hunts every 10 minutes (divided by age group), pictures with the Easter Bunny, face painting, a petting zoo, and balloon animals. In case it rains, the event moves up to April 4.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Downtown West Chester

March 28, 2026 at 10 am
Everhart Park, 100 S. Brandywine Street, West Chester

West Chester Parks & Recreation is bringing back its Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Thousands of eggs filled with candy, toys, gift cards, and more will be waiting for little ones to discover. Arrive early for face paintings and snap a photo with the Easter Bunny before the hunt begins. If it rains, the fun moves indoors to the West Chester Municipal Building at 401 E. Gay Street with the same date and time.

The Stenton Egg Hunt

March 28, 2026, from 1–3 pm
Stenton Museum, 4601 N. 18th Street, Philadelphia

Stenton Museum hosts a free Easter event (rain or shine) with an Egg Hunt, natural egg dyeing, crafts, and face painting. The Egg Hunt begins promptly at 1 pm, and the site is open until 3 pm for the other activities and refreshments. The event is free, but donations are appreciated. Space is limited, so reservations are required. Bring the whole family (and your baskets!) since all ages are welcome.

Easter Egg Hunt at the Historic St. George’s Museum & Archives

March 29, 2026, from 11:30 am to 1 pm
Historic St. George’s Museum & Archives, 326 New Street, Philadelphia

Families of all ages are welcome to come out for the Historic St. George’s Museum & Archives Annual Easter Egg Hunt! This event is free to attend, and donations are always appreciated. There will also be raffles and crafts for all – just don’t forget to bring a basket!

Hayride to Bunnyland

March 21–22 and 28–29: 10 am to 4 pm; March 30–April 2: 11 am to 4 pm; April 3–4: 10 am to 4 pm

Take a Hayride to Bunnyland at Linvilla Orchards. You’ll ride through the woods to the Easter Bunny’s house, and not only will you get to meet and take pictures with him, one of his friends will also tell a magical tale and give out special treats.

Easter Egg Roll

Hop on over to Dare to Imagine for their Easter Egg Roll, and a day packed with family fun. This includes exciting games, colorful egg painting, lots of candy, and a hunt for the Golden Egg.

Elmo’s Eggstravaganza at Sesame Place

Celebrate Easter with your favorite Sesame Street pals at Elmo’s Eggstravaganza. Sesame Place Philadelphia is brimming with springtime joy, featuring Easter Bunny Meet & Greets, Easter egg scavenger hunts, donut decorating with Cookie Monster, and a Bunny Hop Dance Party.

Easter Family Day at the American Swedish Historical Museum

Discover the unique traditions of a Swedish Easter at the American Swedish Historical Museum. At Easter Family Day, children can dress up as Easter witches with painted cheeks and freckles, enjoy face painting, and make crafts reflecting Swedish holiday customs. The day concludes with an exciting egg hunt on Museum grounds (weather permitting), where children can follow clues to find their prizes.

Battle of the Bunnies at Rolling Thunder

Celebrate Easter on the Rolling Thunder rink with this special event! The afternoon is packed with energy, including a bunny-themed competition, indoor snowball fun, and a lively music-filled atmosphere that the whole family can enjoy. When the thrill of the egg hunt is over, jazz things up with a lovely Easter brunch. Visit one of the unique and unusual lesser-known Philly museums, or go wander the city and make your own adventure. In a city like this, the options are endless.

Make your way to Elmwood Park Zoo and their special Easter Brunch with appearances by the Easter Bunny. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, participate in our Easter activities, and meet a beloved educational animal. Don’t forget to grab a photo with the Easter Bunny and then enjoy exploring the Zoo.

Hop to it: Bunny Brunch at the Philadelphia Zoo is back. Your ticket includes brunch, photos with the bunny, and general Zoo admission for the day. There will also be meet-and-greets with their ambassador animals. Reserve tickets to this special event.

Breakfast with the Bunny

April 4, 2026, from 9 am to 12 pm

Join LuLu Shriners for Breakfast with the Bunny, featuring an Easter carnival and egg hunt. Breakfast includes eggs, bacon, waffles, cereal, juice milk, tea, and coffee.

Philadelphia Easter Signature Brunch Cruise

April 5, 2026, from 12–2 pm (with a boarding time of 11:30 am)

All aboard for a fun-filled afternoon with City Cruises on a Philadelphia Easter Signature Brunch Cruise, with a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Easter Sunday Brunch at Philmont Country Club
