What’s Luck Got To Do With It? (Irish Favorites) at Welsh Road Library

March 13, at 3:30 pm
Welsh Road Library, 9233 Roosevelt Boulevard, Philadelphia

Join Bill Monaghan for a festive all-ages program filled with Irish songs, stories, jokes, and toasts. With this event, families can leave the bad luck behind and catch a little luck of the Irish instead.

St. Patrick’s Day Themed Kids MakerSpace at the Morgan Log House

March 14, from 1โ€“3 pm
Morgan Log House, 850 Weikel Road, Lansdale

Join Morgan Log House for a hands-on experience where children enjoy storytime and a make-and-take project! For St. Patrick’s Day, little ones will build their very own leprechaun traps using household items. Families are also encouraged to bring children’s books to donate as part of the Kiwanis Club’s Read Across Pennsylvania program.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Sesame Place

March 14 & 15, 10 amโ€“5 pm
Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Rd, Langhorne

Bring the family together and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Sesame Place with plenty of activities for all! First, join Elmo, Cookie Monster, and other Sesame Street friends for a day packed with rides, live shows, dance parties, and the Sesame Street Party Parade. Then, hunt for hidden surprises on a St. Patrick’s Day scavenger hunt and snap photos with the characters.

Additionally, families can sit down for a special dining experience. Finally, be sure to watch the performance by the Rince Ri Irish School of Dance. All in all, this weekend promises a St. Patrick’s Day celebration that the whole family will love.

St. Patrick’s Day Weekend at Elmwood Park Zoo

March 14 & 15, 10 amโ€“4 pm
Elmwood Park Zoo, 1661 Harding Blvd., Norristown

Families can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the zoo packed with festivities, including live music, a gold-hunting scavenger hunt, keeper chats, and animal greets. Additionally, if you wear green or a St. Patty’s outfit, you can score $1 off carousel rides. While you’re there, raise a glass at the Zoo Brew Beer Garden (for adults 21+ and over).

Shake Your Shamrock โ€“ Scoogie Fun Run

Peddler’s Village, Route 202 and Street Road, Lahaska, Bucks County

Looking for something more active? This festive St. Patrick’s Day race event has something for every member of the family, from the 5K and 8K runs for adults, to a 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk, and a Little Leprechaun Half-Mile Kids’ Fun Run for younger runners. Plan ahead and park at Giggleberry Fair for easy access, and be sure to register early as spots are expected to fill up fast.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

March 15, 2026, starting at 11 am
Begins at 16th & JFK Blvd. and ends between 6th & 5th on Market Street, Philadelphia

Kick off the celebrations with the Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This year, the beloved city tradition celebrates 250 Years of Irish Contributions to America, featuring marching bands, dancers, and festive floats strolling through Center City. Families can also join a Commemorative Parade Mass at 9 am at Saint Patrick’s Church, which is led by Archbishop Nelson Perez. Afterwards, join the festivities and watch the parade.

Saint Patrick’s Day Leprechaun Hunt

March 17, 3 pm
Haddington Library, 446 North 65th Street, Philadelphia

Think you can outsmart a Leprechaun? Bring the kids to the Children’s Department at Haddington Library for an afternoon of clue-hunting, treasure-seeking, and a little St. Patrick’s Day mischief that the whole family will enjoy.
