Stratford Friends School Offers An Integrative Approach to Education

This Quaker-based school, located in Newtown Square is giving kids who learn differently the tools they need for success.

Growing up, Jill Dougherty, now the Head of School at Stratford Friends School, remembers her own challenges with learning to read.  She fondly thinks of the person who helped her untangle the letters and turn them into stories that would take her to far off places and give her the chance to learn something new.

Now, a Certified Reading Specialist herself, Dougherty is helping children who learn differently master the skills they need for successful futures. To learn more about Stratford Friends, and their approaches to educating those who learn differently, head over to MainLineParent.com.
