Philadelphia Family was founded in 2013 with the mission of building community to connect parents raising kids in the city with resources, events, and each other.

Wanda Thomas, Philly Family Community Member of the Year

Wanda Thomas is a natural at connecting people. After building her business as a professional Main Line and Philadelphia photographer since 2013, she recently opened Studio on Macallum in Mount Airy. Wanda loves her community and has demonstrated a commitment to supporting small businesses and her children’s school. We are grateful for Wanda’s contributions in our Philly Family Community group on Facebook. We can always count on her to offer encouragement and advice to her fellow local parents. Independence Seaport Museum, Philadelphia Family Business Member of the Year

As one of our first Philadelphia Family Business Members, The Independence Seaport Museum offers incredibly unique experiences to families in the Philadelphia area. Their summer camps offer the special opportunity for kids to navigate the Delaware River, they provide hands-on STEM programs, and they teach us all about the rich history of our region’s waterways.
