Plymouth Performing Arts Center has been such a wonderful and positive outlet for my daughter, Katelyn. From a young age, she has always been a very creative child, and this program has truly helped her grow and develop her artistic abilities through theater and voice lessons. Because of their guidance and encouragement, she has grown into something she truly loves and feels confident pursuing.

The teachers at Plymouth Performing Arts Center are kind, patient, and understanding. They treat all students with fairness and respect, creating a supportive environment where children feel safe to learn, grow, and express themselves. Their dedication goes far beyond teaching—they inspire confidence, teamwork, and self-belief.

I am so grateful that my daughter has had such a meaningful social and creative outlet through this program. The impact it has had on her confidence and happiness is immeasurable. I cannot thank the staff enough for all of their hard work, commitment, and passion.

Plymouth Performing Arts Center truly deserves recognition for the difference they make in the lives of their students and families.

PPAC is wonderful! We will keep sending our daughter for their summer theater camp as long as we can!

My children have done many of PPAC’s programs over the years and have always had a great experience there! They’ve learned and developed as performers and musicians and attending classes-especially Glee- is the highlight of the week!

We have had such a wonderful experience with the First Notes music class at the Plymouth Performing Arts Center. My two-year-old son has been attending for the past year and looks forward to every class. It has been amazing to watch him light up through music and movement and really gain confidence and rhythm through this class. Ms. Morgan and Mr. Paul are incredibly patient and engaging, and clearly experienced with toddlers—keeping the class structured while still fun and flexible. First Notes has truly ignited our son’s passion for music, even at such a young age, and we would absolutely recommend it to other families with young children.

I was a student at PPAC for 8 years, and I attribute much of my musical development to the school. Every PPAC instructor I worked with, not only helped to develop my musical skills, but believed in my ability to succeed, which helped my confidence and passion for the arts. I am so grateful for all that I have learned from them. PPAC succeeds in providing each student with insight in the musical world, but also in the professional world.

My son Grayson has grow tremendously in his talents due to the lessons and direction of Robert Lesia and all of the incredibly talented staff at Plymouth Performing Arts. We are so lucky to have them in our community to utilize to help our children grow in music and the arts.

The kids develop such confidence through PPAC’s musical theater classes and voice lessons. It is amazing to see! My daughter loves performing and the group of theater-obsessed friends she has made during her time at PPAC. So glad we have this resource so close to home!

PPAC has taught me so much and really helped me jump out of my comfort zone. Since I first took a trial lesson there, everyone has been so welcoming and are seriously some of the nicest people I have ever met. The vocal lessons have significantly inhanced my singing capabilities and I always leave there feeling more happy and joyful than I did before. In addition, the recitals I have preformed in are well put together and I feel very comfortable showing my talent on PPAC’s stage. Thank you PPAC for all the great memories that you have created for me.

My daughter, Maia, began attending First Notes music classes at Plymouth Performing Arts Center in August 2025, when she was just 13 months old. At the time, she could only say a few words—mostly the names of basic body parts. During class, she often preferred to sit back and observe Ms. Morgan and Mr. Paul. I would gently encourage her to stand up and move with the music, but for the first few months, she was hesitant.

Even so, I chose to continue enrolling her because she was clearly interested in what was happening around her. After each class, she would come home and eagerly play with her shaker toys, creating her own little moments of music. As she grew older and began communicating more, she started tapping on the table and saying “ta-ta-ta-ta,” mimicking the rhythms she heard in class.

Now at 18 months, and still attending First Notes, Maia has become much more comfortable and confident. She stands, moves, and dances during class, copies movements without my help, and even sings along to the songs. Attending First Notes has not only instilled a love of music in Maia, but has also helped build her confidence. This confidence carries over into other activities, such as library story time, where she now participates with more ease.

The class has also supported Maia’s fine and gross motor development. At home, she dances freely, engages in pretend play—like acting as a cow—and uses her tiny fingers to carefully move small objects. Watching her growth through music has been a joyful experience, and First Notes has played a meaningful role in her development.

My son has been attending PPAC for several years now, as PPAC has something for children of all ages. Directors Justin and Blaze have helped him to really love stage acting, instilling in him great confidence all the while. I’d be remiss if I didn’t include praise for his voice coach, Kathryn. Her teaching and caring are amazing! My wife and I love that this hobby has become a passion for our boy! It’s our pleasure now to hear him singing at home, and creatively twisting his lines to make us laugh! TY Kathryn, Blaze, Justin, and PPAC!
