This foundation truly serves as an incredible foundation for such a heartfelt cause. My family was nominated when my father passed away at the age of 50, leaving behind three children, one of whom was under the age of eighteen. This foundation has been a valuable source of support for us, and they were able to sponsor a family day for us, which allowed us to find some joy amidst our grief. Rebecca consistently checks in with us, shares events that we can participate in, and truly makes a difference in the lives of families affected by cancer.

Being nominated for the Small Moments Foundation has been an incredible blessing for my family. From our very first conversation, Rebecca has been warm, welcoming, and deeply understanding. Through the events she hosts throughout the year, she creates an environment where families feel seen, supported, and truly cared for. Because of her and her organization, we’ve been able to spend meaningful time together as a family, creating memories through experiences we may not otherwise have had the opportunity to enjoy.

Whenever I have reached out to Rebecca for advice or to talk with her about a family I hoped to nominate, she has always been responsive, thoughtful, and informative. What makes Rebecca and the Small Moments Foundation especially meaningful is that she has walked the same journey as the families she supports. That shared experience brings a deep sense of comfort, understanding, and trust to everything she does.

I am truly grateful for Rebecca and the Small Moments Foundation, and for the genuine care, compassion, and hope she brings to every family she touches.

I had the honor of hosting a cookie class for Small Moments Foundation, and it was such a meaningful experience. Rebecca and her team truly creates small moments of joy for families who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and sense of togetherness in the midst of difficult times was incredibly moving. It’s inspiring to be part of something that brings comfort and connection in such a thoughtful, loving way. Rebecca and her team were amazing and its truly amazing to see the heartfelt work that they do.

Such an inspiration to families and loved ones who need support and understanding when navigating the emotions of loss, especially in children. Rebecca does a remarkable job in her ability to relate to these challenges and to articulate her own emotions and demonstrating how making connections with the community of those sharing similar losses goes such a long way.

Small Moments Foundation has brought Hope, unexpected joy, and the love to children when they are most in need to feel support from others. I am honored to nominate children to receive this mission. Thank you, Rebecca, for giving of yourself and starting an amazing foundation.

I have known this girl since she was born and this is just so typical of the love she has for anyone who has gone through the loss she and her boys went through. She pours her heart and soul into anything she does friendship, motherhood and this foundation. I think it started out as a way to pour her grief into something positive and has blossomed into a phenomenal outreach of love towards any family that may be going through this very difficult time. The golf outing and getting sponsors is like a full time job and she is just killing it and making some one else’s family happy and shine for a time when they need it most.

In the middle of grief and exhaustion, you gave her magic—and you gave me something steady to hold onto. Because of you and the community around this work, I don’t feel alone as I move forward in this grief. I feel supported, seen, and reminded that there is life and connection ahead, even when it looks different than I imagined.

I’m forever grateful and truly hope we can stay connected. Your words—and your kindness—have changed more than you know.
