The Weitzman brings American Jewish history to life, plus immersive family fun in Colors of Creation, their vibrant new family gallery.

The Weitzman is offering FREE admission to Colors of Creation until October 31! Their yearly theme of Jewish Joy is extended to you and your family.

Families are invited to discover, play, and explore The Weitzman in the very heart of Philadelphia’s historic district through engaging exhibitions, programs, and hands-on experiences. Families do not want to miss Colors of Creation, Weitzman’s immersive, new family gallery designed as a digital playground to spark curiosity, creativity, and wonder. This experience continues in The Lab, a tactile, hands-on play and discovery space where families can experiment and explore together!

SECOND SUNDAY

Starting November 8th, join families and neighbors at The Weitzman for Second Sunday, a FREE museum day every month! Celebrate monthly themes with hands-on crafts and free admission to all of our exhibits. For a more relaxed experience, head over from 9 – 11 am for Low Sensory Time, where The Weitzman reduces stimulation and quiets down.

The play space truly had something for every age… Then we stepped into Colors of Creation and WOW. The lights, colors, and sounds responded to every movement, creating an experience that felt different every time you explored it… As a pediatric physical therapist, this place was honestly a dream.

Families with three generations walking through the museum together! This was a true meaning of L’dor V’dor from generation, coming to life.
