YMCA Camp Conrad Weiser The Overnight Camp at South Mountain YMCA Camps offers 3-day overnight camps, 1-week sessions, and 2–3-week sessions for campers in Grades 2–11. Set on 450 acres of mountaintop property in northeastern Pennsylvania, just 40 minutes from Hershey, our camp provides a welcoming, inclusive environment where campers grow in confidence, independence, and connection.

Rooted in the YMCA’s mission of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, our progressive, camper-centered programs support both first-time and returning campers. Campers participate in a wide range of activities including horseback riding, climbing, archery, riflery, crafts, sports, and nature exploration, guided by caring, well-trained counselors who serve as positive role models.

Families can feel confident choosing our camp knowing it is accredited by the American Camp Association and Praesidium, meeting and exceeding hundreds of combined standards for camp operations, safety, staff training, and comprehensive child abuse prevention and protection. Praesidium accreditation reflects our commitment to proactive policies, staff training, and systems designed specifically to keep children safe.

At The Overnight Camp at South Mountain YMCA Camps, campers leave with more than great memories — they gain character, skills, and friendships that last well beyond the summer.

My children started going to Camp Conrad Weiser 8 years ago and have had wonderful experiences. It’s well run with staff and counsellors dedicated to making sure the children feel welcome and have a great experience. They have left each year with new friends and looking forward to the next years adventures.
