Music Theatre Philly (MTP), one of Philadelphia’s most popular and award-winning performing arts training programs, is gearing up for an incredible Fall season with classes and shows for ages 3 through 18! Founded by Broadway professionals and located in Center City (12th & Spruce), MTP is focused on professional theatre education with programming in singing, acting, dancing, technical theatre design, and performance opportunities.

With classes featuring music from some of the hottest titles on Broadway and beyond, MTP incorporates music and movement in classes lead with positivity and fun, while building confidence and technique in the many disciplines of theatre. With programming designed specifically for each age group, MTP works to grow and nurture your child’s talent while building their confidence on AND off stage!

For performers ready to step on stage, look no further! MTP Presents is the production company for performers in grades K – 12. Performers will experience an entire production process guided by a professional Creative and Design team, culminating at the Arts Bank Theatre at UArts. This Fall, MTP Presents is thrilled to produce ‘The Secret of Encanto’ for grades K – 2 and 3 -6, as well as ‘RENT: School Edition’ for grades 7 – 12.

MTP is also thrilled to bring back some favorite classes as well as an array of new offerings. Preschool Classes (ages 3 – 5) include introductory looks at movement and coordination in a welcoming and warm studio environment. Titles include Disney Royalty, Broadway Ballet, and Introduction to Musical Theatre.

For grades K-2, MTP has something for everyone! Classes include Acting & Improv, Broadway Dance Party, and Triple Threat Dance. New classes include ‘Adult & Me’ Tap Dance, Do Re Mi, and Backstage Pass.

MTP’s Tween Classes (grades 3 – 6) are full of sessions that help your child move into the next steps of their training or try something brand new! Join Broadway Dance Party, Acting & Improv, Tap & Jass, and Musical Theatre Dance, MTP Vocal Ensemble, and Stagecraft!

For Teens (grades 7-12), don’t miss Musical Theatre Teen Dance. New for Teens this Fall is MTP’s Teen Conservatory Program. This exclusive pilot program is for the serious student looking to further explore musical theatre training as a pre-professional and professional level.
