Farmers Markets Around Center City

Rittenhouse

18th Street & Walnut Street
Tuesdays 10 am–2 pm & Saturdays, 9 am–2 pm

This huge farmers market in Rittenhouse Square is open on both Tuesdays and Saturdays year-round.

Fitler Square

23rd Street & Pine Street
Saturdays, 9 am–noon

The smaller neighborhood market in Fitler Square is also open year-round.

Jefferson

925 Chestnut Street
Thursdays, 11 am–3 pm

This market is located near Jefferson Hopsital.

Northern Liberties

2nd Street & Germantown Avenue
Saturdays, 10 a.m–2 pm

A collaboration with The Piazza and the Northern Liberties Business Improvement District, this year-round farmers market features over a dozen vendors including fruit and vegetable farmers, dairy purveyors, chocolate makers, hyper-locally brewed beer and more.

West Philly Farmers Markets

Clark Park

43rd Street & Baltimore Avenue

Saturdays, 10 am–2 pm

This Saturday morning staple of West Philly operates year-round with a wide variety of vendors. Plus, tons of local clothes and craft vendors set up in the rest of the park for all of your browsing needs.

52nd & Haverford

52nd Street & Haverford Avenue
Wednesdays, 11 am–4 pm

Located in Haddington, this farmers market offers affordable, fresh produce to local residents.

Overbrook

Lancaster Avenue & City Avenue
Saturdays, 9 am–1 pm

This seasonal market sets up in the parking lot of Overbrook Presbyterian Church on Sunday mornings with vegetables, fruits, and baked goods on offer.

South Street Headhouse District

Headhouse

2nd Street & Lombard Street
Sundays, 10 am–2 pm

The year-round Headhouse Farmers Market is located at Society Hill’s Headhouse Shambles and offers more than just produce. Find a great selection of locally prepared foods and goods such as bread, soup, baked goods, coffee, beer, wine, and more.

South & Passyunk

South Street & East Passyunk Avenue
Thursdays, 3–7 pm

Open on Thursday afternoons from June to October, this market located on South Street and East Passyunk Avenue has lots of seasonal and locally grown produce, sustainably raised meats and pastured eggs, freshly baked breads and baked goods, honey and fermented foods, artisanal pastas, and more.

Old City

Christ Church

20 N. American Street
Wednesdays, 3–6 pm

The Farmers Market at Christ Church is located a block away from the site of Philadelphia’s original 18th-century farmers market.

South Philly
