Just when we were enjoying our “hot vax summer” and looking forward to a somewhat more normal school year, the COVID Delta variant has come along to complicate things. Since kids under 12 still can’t be vaccinated, we were already playing it safe, but our fall plans are looking increasingly hesitant and cautious. As with the duration of the pandemic, smaller outdoor events reign supreme and creativity is king.
