Now Open: “Out in the Garden” Pride Celebration

PHS and Visit Philly bring a month-long Pride celebration to the South Street Pop Up Garden!

The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and Visit Philadelphia have teamed up to produce “Out in the Garden”, a month long celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community at the PHS Pop Up Garden at South Street. An exciting lineup of events, mixers, and performances will take place through October 8 in addition to the floral installation.

The colorful floral installation celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community was created by Eric Schellack and unveiled on September 7. The installation accentuates the entrance to the garden and is inspired by ancient classical Greek, India, and Egyptian architecture featuring the rainbow colors of the Pride flag.
