The Tacony LAB’s classes are unique in Philadelphia: they do not charge tuition or any sort of fees for any of their classes. Classes are popular and often have wait-lists. If you enroll in a class, please commit to attending it!

Tipsy History: A Love Story

Love is in the air at the Betsy Ross House this Valentine’s Day weekend. For the most unique date in town, grab your plus one and join Betsy, herself, for Tipsy History: A Love Story Friday, February 11 and Saturday, February 12.

You’ll hear a love story for the ages when you meet a young Betsy Ross just after her elopement with husband John. She faces the condemnation of her Quaker community for marrying outside her religion. Will she choose faith and family or true love?

Tickets include one handcrafted cocktail. Tours run about 75 minutes. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your tour start time as the tour begins promptly. Tickets are limited to allow for proper social distancing. There are no refunds or reschedules available for late arrivals.

Valentine’s Day Chocolate and Beer Tasting!

On the evening of February 19th, 2022, there will be TWO back-to-back cabaret performances of Love Notes 2.0… Sour Notes with local artists at Society Hill Dance Academy. It’s an amazing space and we’re teaming up with a local vendor to have cocktails available. Proof of vaccination will be required. Artists for the live event include tenor Joshua Blue, mezzo-soprano Maren Montalbano, soprano Ashley Marie Robillard, soprano Katrina Thurman, pianist Aurelien Eulert, and drag queen and emcee extraordinaire, Maria TopCatt.
