There’s nothing like a summer in Philly, but especially in 2026. Not only the epicenter for the America 250 celebration this year, Philly is also one of only a few cities in North America selected to host the FIFA World Cup.
And with the FIFA World Cup right here in Philadelphia, you can take part in the fun even if you don’t have a ticket to the games.

Held in North America, Philly is one of 11 United States cities that have been chosen to host games for this global sport event.

FIFA Fan Events Around Philly
Being that Philly is a host city, the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be a city-wide celebration. Don’t have World Cup tickets? Join the top spot for fan participation, outside the stadium, at the FIFA Fan Festival in Lemon Hill. Or join the fun at a World Cup watch party around the city.
FIFA Fan Fest at Lemon Hill
The official FIFA World Cup 2026 Philadelphia fan festival will take place at Lemon Hill Park in the Fairmount area of the city from June 11–July 19. The festival serves as a family-friendly FIFA celebration headquarters for the entire tournament.
Pillared by a large stage setup with a massive screen, the festival will broadcast live matches, host live musical acts, and offer more than 80 food and goods vendors.
While free and open to the public, you must register in advance before attending FIFA Fan Fest. Try to use public transport like Philly PHLASH to and from the festival, as local parking will only be available to full-time residents of the area.
For more information on the festival, visit FIFA 26 Philadelphia. Check the day-to-day operating schedule for FIFA Fan Fest hours.
Watch Parties Around Philly
If you can’t make it to the FIFA Fan Festival in Lemon Hill, plenty of spots around the city plan to host tournament watch parties.
Get hyped with the neighborhood crowd and watch the FIFA World Cup at the Green Room in Fairmount.
Across town, catch all the matches with a cold German beer at Brauhaus Schmitz on South Street. What’s more, Brauhaus Schmitz will host five, street closure watch parties on the 700 block of South.
For an even bigger soccer vibe, visit the Philadelphia Union soccer stadium in Chester, PA. Their 7,000 foot brew hall, Union Yards, will host special watch party gatherings throughout the entire tournament.
